Drums are made of fir wood, a soft raw material perfectly fit for this type of product.
Solid wood cable drums are the largest ones manufactured by the Vergnani mill. Their diameter size varies from 60 cm to 2 m. These drums are used for large industrial complexes needing a large quantity of electrical cables.

In addition to manufacturing wooden cable drums, Vergnani also offers a drum repair service. Wooden components may be disassembled and reassembled, Vergnani disassembles the external flanges of a wooden drum and replaces them with new ones for it to be made again fully functional.
